Yes - we have snow in Provence and as I gaze out my windows it is truly a winter wonderland. This does not happen every year; I am very excited and I can't stop gazing at the garden and the olive groves and marveling at their transformation. I know it is not north American depth or Canadian cold, that the autoroutes have been cut and the airports closed but.....
It is so very pretty.

It will be perfect for a cozy fire and some reading...which is probably what you're doing!
Lots of people blogging about the "Snow" in France, especially Provence...I heard the Marseille was shut off...and how unusual it was for them to have any snow!!!

So dreamy. I love snow, having grown up in upstate NY in the Syracuse area. I miss it in DC - we get it so rarely but as you said, it makes it more special when it happens.

ReplyDeleteSo pretty.. I think there is something so magical and peaceful about snow. Its as if a hush is sent over the earth! We are in the middle of a snow storm here as i write. There is nothing better than feeling all cozy inside and looking out into the pure white quiet.
