just when you think it's all go... there is a technical hitch...

I wish I was sitting on these Parisian chairs as I wait to resolve my technical issues in transferring to the new French Essence site...

I am sorry but my new baby is not quite ready to present herself... She doesn't seem to want to say goodbye to Blogger just yet... so in the meantime... I am here... until further notice...

When will she be ready? I dare not say... hopefully very soon.... but in the meantime, we can always talk Paris...

I am consoling myself with some Parisian interior eye candy...

Here are some of my favourite comfort pages... xv

  2. Hopefully it will work out very soon. I keep constantly checking on your blog today :)
Love all those books too + the older one - The Finest Houses of Paris by Jean-Bernard Naudin & Christiane de Nicolay-Mazery. Its every page is full of eye candies and the text is interesting history of the houses.

  3. Hi Vicki, I know what you mean. I am also trying to give birth to a new website and it is soo drawn out! At least you still have your blog.. At he moment I have nothing and everyone here in Oz has gone home.

Really enjoying your blog and can't wait to see the new reveal. If your home page is anything to go by it's going to be beautiful! I am guessing that is your dressing table? YUM!

    Good Luck!

  4. There's always some technical wizardry needed these days to make anything work! I like the building of anticipation though & cant wait for the baby to arrive! Paris Pictures are a wonderful substitute for now thought.Hope you get things sorted soon.

  7. Technical issues are the bane of bloggers' existences!! Are you switching to Word Press? Once you're there, you'll find it's quite reliable. Can't wait to see!!

I am thinking Surrey at the moment...such a contrast to last week. London tomorrow...fingers crossed...the rain stays at bay.

  15. Oh, isn't that the way it goes? You make an announcement and the impish gods of technology just giggle and throw a wrench in your code.

  19. I will patiently wait for your new baby's appearance. I have been posting for a few months short of two years (daily) and I met with Virginia (Paris Through my Lens) for her to help me "birth my baby." The reference has stuck and I often call her to tell her that her "baby slept in" or "your baby has a problem." We have lots of laughs about our babies!

  22. Hi Vicki, Technology is great---but sometimes it is a kick in the pants. Isn't it wonderful how we can immerse ourselves in visual feasts and simply forget the daily cares. Thanks. Mary
