As I am talking books about Paris, hotels and decor I thought you might also like this one, French Bistro: Seasonal Recipes by Bertrand Auboyneau, the owner of the Paul Bert Bistro in Paris. It is one of my readers favourite bistros in Paris... I have yet to try this one so it's on the top of my list. Tracey recommended their book and it does look fabulous... full of wonderful recipes and thoughts about Bistro eating... xv

It looks so cozy and classy! There's really nothing like a good bistro, is there? (I wonder if bistros would ever need harp music inside...I could play and eat my way through Paris!)
ReplyDeleteBon jour Vicki. My husband and I visited Paris in November and were fortunate to stay at Caron de Beaumarchais. They accommodated our request for a 'room with a view' and we happily sipped rose on our tiny Paris balcony. Not only was it tres atmospheric, but everyone in the hotel was so lovely and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and very Parisienne.

This looks perfect Vicki! We are going to Paris at the end of June (my first time I might add) to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I am beyond excited and I'm compiling lists of places to see, do, dine, etc.. You blog has been a wonderful resource for me!
