r&r...yes please...


It's the weekend....well almost....Friday is always a day of preparation for me...getting it all ready so that the days can be a wind down...I wish you two days of heaven...of switch off, relaxation, fine food and wine...If you do feel the need or can't resist the power up.. then you might like to amuse yourself with these little tales.....xv

    The weekly groceries are done. The house clean and fresh, candlelight, something delicious with coffee ... and the weekend can begin.

    Yes, a weekend of R&R is definitely on the calendar! The past couple of weekends I've had no engagements, but cleaned the basement, cleaned the garage and got the garden/yard ready for winter. THIS weekend I'm going to rest, drink tea, think of a new color scheme for my bathroom (in the form of a new rug), rehearse holiday concert music on my harp, get my holiday concert dress altered, then rest some more.

    Love your gorgeous Pinerest themes! How do you have the time?!

    When lived on the beach in Santa Barbara early Friday AMs were my organize times, too, as weekend company would be driving up from LA calling for fresh flowers, fresh sheets, and something freshly baked for them to enjoy upon arrival and after their drive. Then lobster bakes on the beach, etc. So much fun & also work.....glad that's done!

    alas my weekend is squeezed into one day.

    Sunday will be spent in the office analyzing computer viruses and writing code to block them.

    But the two days off that this will earn me will be spent wisely next month, back in France for a trip 'home'

    Hi Vicki,
    Our son, daughter-in-law and grandson are living with us at the moment as they have sold their flat and are waiting to move into their house and, of course, I cook for them everyday but, today, they have cooked us monkfish, chorizo and green beans, so our weekend has been delicious....fine wines were drunk as well !! XXXX
