Sounds wonderful. I am imagining you sitting there, in that wonderful home that you have created. Really enjoyed the posts on A Gift Wrapped Life and now I know what I want for Christmas, your new book!
If only. Nursing a sick husband, who's convinced that he has swine flu, doing the ironing, cleaning the house and preparing to go on holiday. Can we swap?
PB and La Belle - I snapped this shot of the windows of the Samaritaine department store in Paris a couple of months back. It is closed for renovations and all the windows were painted with these cute scenes - I don't know the artist but the work was fabulous. Sadly this was the only decent photograph as it was a rainy afternoon and the light wasn't great. xv
Oh Heck! this artist looks very familiar to me...especially the doggie. Must put on my Sherlock Holmes hat and get hunting.. I'm sure I saw those windows too.. buerke..
Thank you tons for your sweet note, it was a great gift to return from the states to have it awaiting me! merci! My cousin just bought a small New England ,town bookstore - and I agree with the images you conjured up ---about the traditions of meandering in the book stalls dreaming of the stories within these binders. Have a super weekend- in Tuscany,my sweet sister lives there since some 25years. Enjoy!Salut du Midi!
