Do you ever wake up in the morning and just need a shot of colour? Have that feeling that life needs a rev upwards and a little taste of glamour. That is the joy of the internet - google up an image or a word and it is there instantly. I needed a fashion fix this morning and what better excuse for that than St Patrick's Day; I love the life down on the farm but sometimes a girl longs for the city and a reason to glam up.
This Alber Elbaz creation from Lanvin could be just the thing to celebrate in tonight - don't you think? xv

ReplyDeleteMmmm, my husband's Irish, but somehow I can't picture him in this outfit! LOL. Me on the other hand, well I'd love to be young and slim again so I could wear something like this. What a gorgeous dress!

I realized, early this morning, I have not one green thing to wear today! It's off to my favorite consignment shop for a little green wearin' goodies!
ReplyDeleteMy youngest son is a chef ... I would have snapped up the one-handed chef and given it to him. Not certain where he would have put it, but I couldn't have resisted him.
Great look, the color...even better! Also, love the green on the header this a.m. for St. Patty's Day!
ReplyDeleteMay the luck of the ol' Irish be with ya today!

ReplyDeleteThat's getting me in the mood! It just occurred to me that I don't wear much green. Obama had a green tie on today and it looked great. This is a glorious ensemble, perfect for tonight...leave it to Lanvin!

That would be a fabulous outfit in which to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Hope you had a great one. xo
ReplyDeleteMOTH got stuck into the Jamesons Irish last night to toast St. Paddy properly. He had the kids going though when he started telling them about his Irish ancestors until one son queried the voracity of that comment as MOTH's father's name was Alexander Fraser McLeod...!! A fine Irish name not!!!!
ReplyDeleteMillie ^_^
