Still at Le Petit Palais...


Curving and glorious in it's architectural detail,


this staircase looks magnificent without,

or with elegant company.

But if you are very, very tired and the beauty of it all is just all too much  - then where better to take a little power nap  than at the bottom of these spiralling stairs.

    I found your blog through Fifi Flowers blog. I am in love with your photos. They are gorgeous!! The staircase is absolutely spell blinding as are all of your pics. I too, have an affinity for all things french and wish that I lived there as well. How very fortunate for you that you are able to live there and have a olive farm. (Sigh, Sigh)

    Positively glorious. Ornate ironwork is yet another of my weaknesses. This stair railing took my breath away.
