Can you believe it's Friday? I can't.... and all the ticks that were meant to be on my list seemed to have disappeared...actually, they never made it on there in the first place... It doesn't matter, next week is a new chapter and this week I enjoyed the sunshine in Provence... so if Christmas preparations are behind schedule...I can live with that... so much better to enjoy the moment and fret less about what we haven't done than what we are doing... Don't you think?
Christmas decorations... that is today's news... I have some to send to... Elaine and Susan... and to Alcira of The Nero Chronicles and Gigi at the Magpie's Fancy... I will be in touch... At the same time as I am having fun with decorations... Karena at Art by Karena is giving away two sets of my books, MY FRENCH LIFE and FRENCH ESSENCE on her holiday giveaway... Please visit her and enter the draw... I would love you to have them... Otherwise you can always find them HERE...
And something special for my Australian readers... Carla Coulson, my great friend and photographer extraordinaire, has her new book, CHASING A DREAM out in Oz... it is as fabulous as you imagine and you can find it HERE... I hope it will be available for US and European readers next year...
So all that is left for today is for me to wish you a happy and fun filled weekend... luxuriate in this festive season with friends and family... and enjoy each and every moment... they all count... xv
P.S... More Christmas coming to you next week... so keep tweeting, commenting, subscribing and liking... I love to know you are there...
Just had a look at Carla's book - looks wonderful - my kind of book but here in the UK we'll have to be patient! I'm loking forward to the weekend - decorating the tree (whilst playing Christmas music!).... mulled wine....new winter scented candles...

Enjoy the sunshine, here in Ireland today it's snowing!
ReplyDeleteLove your bowl of beautiful red ornaments. Hope you have a fabulous weekend. Provence must be beautiful at Christmas. My visit there was in spring, maybe someday I'll visit there at Christmas. I did get to see the beauty of Paris decorated for the holidays. I loved all the charming little snow flocked trees everywhere. Have a lovely weekend.

Bonjour Vicki. You sound busy all right ;-) Just added your two books to my Christmas list. Santa will be bringing me books mostly this year (at least I hope so, as I have been VERY good...) I guess I should write him a quick note and add Carla's book too. She is so talented! You are not the only one who is behind schedule. My mother in law arrives in just 10 days. Yikes. I should probably "accélérer" un peu, non? Bon weekend Vicki. A bientôt. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

These decorations look like they'd bring good Feng Shui, Vicki. I'm all for enjoying the moment ~ it's almost as if the universe conspires to help us get through other things faster in return.
