Oh my. Fierce! When I'm out running, there is the tiniest, most ferocious little dog who loves to bark wildly at me as I go by. When he's with his person, he's sweet and wiggly. But on his leash - look out!
This brought a smile to my faces. Your photos are always magical. Is that a third little furball in the distance? A third neighbor! ... lucky pups. :) xo isa
Love your neighbors. My "children" are about that size and we have lots of neighbors like yours. Except they can't run free around here. My littlest tries her darnest get free from her harness and leash and she spends the entire walk trying to out run her Mama (that's me). Poor little girl - she's jealous of your neighbors!!
I am so very happy I found your gorgeous blog! It's so HAPPY here! I adore this beautiful picture... the colors and the happy puppies running and jumping. Just love it! Following you now so we can keep in touch. Cheers, Holly
Reminds me of when I was 7,8 and 9 and my family lived in El Paso, Texas (a God awful place) our neighbors had a gang of chihuahuas that tormented me! I am sure their bark was worse than their bite too, but at the age I was, they were terrifying!
Little dogs, especially chihuahuas, hate poor Jones. And he is sweet and tolerant of them, even cries when they bark at him. But he is not a sissy poodle, No! when those little beasties turn on me, then he takes action. Watch out chihuahuas. This is an amazing photo; when was the allee planted? Have a great day!! Mary
What is it about the French and their dogs! When we visited Paris last year, I was so impressed with the care the two-legs took of their pooches. Saw almost no aversive behavior by the handlers, leash tugs, shouting, etc. Very happy to see good care.
Oh, I love it! What a great, happy photo!
ReplyDeleteAdorable chiens!
ReplyDeleteI would love to get barked at on that lane
ReplyDeleteCouchés, les chiens! Silence, les cabots! ;-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Wonderful picture, and that brings us to something people always talk about when they talk about the French.
ReplyDeleteHave you met the neighbors? Or are the properties too distant?
Love seeing the rich red early and fresh shoots of grass.

Hahaha. Like silent Oscar winning 'The Artist' the International body language of dog is spoken everywhere. And how rich that soil appears!
ReplyDeleteSo very adorable! Want to give them huggies, and tell them i'm nice and they don't need to bark at me. I come in peace! :D
