  14. Mine was going to be a lazy Sunday, but for some reason, the cleaning and sorting muse visited! I know never to deny her...so I ended up going through my Fire King Jadeite collection and weeded out extras to sell. Who really needs 42 cups and saucers? Good grief...

  16. Ooooh a new French one to try! And as I just told someone else, I'm still debating with myself about getting the Kindle but I think it's just a matter of time. Maybe I need to learn to write like that: Entertaining without a challenge! Hope you're enjoying a fabulous week, Vicki.

  17. Hi Vicki - I feel like I know you after reading your blog - you inpsire me as I have such loves as yours. My husband & I travelled to Paris from Australia in 2008 and I Fell in Love !! I have been pining for France since and have gone about renovating our beach unit into a French Beach Chalet. I also reproduce furniture into French Shabby Chic as a hobby & love it so much. We both can't wait to return and explore the country in so much more depth. I love the history (we don't have that in Australia as you would know) and the ambience - the sheer nature of the people and the feeling of total relaxation everywhere. I have english grandparents long passed on & we also explored England - we long to live there and travel Europe once our ties to our parents are no longer there. I hate to say that but it is complicated! Our children are all married happily and we have the freedom to travel so we are working hard now to save up and do some more.

Thank you so much for the privilege to visit your blog and read about your passion and putting it into reality as I so dream of doing myself one day. I too have a great urge to write and have started already. You have made my day and my year ahead - I hope & pray to get to know you some more & share our love for Provence! Please feel free to visit my blog at any time!

    Kind Regards
    Jenny
